Our Story

Our Chapter started in 2018, when climate leaders trained through The Climate Reality Project Leadership Training decided to start a local Climate Reality chapter. The Orange County Chapter is growing to nearly 650 registered members. We live and work in our community. We are your neighbors, educators, business owners, students, a diverse group of passionate individuals who’ve come together to solve the greatest challenge of our time. We committed to building a sustainable future together.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower Orange County through climate education, networking, and coalition building. We focus on results-oriented actions to reduce greenhouse gases to net zero in Orange County.

We do it by empowering everyday people to advocate for solutions and drive change planet-wide.

The result is over 45,000 Climate Reality Leaders mobilizing communities in over 150 countries pushing for practical clean energy policies across the US. We can do this together! By the people. Of the people. For the planet. Join us.
